艺术教育与艺术设计的本质皆在于培养学生的素养及认知能力,许多高校已经开设相关课程,以期提升大学生人文艺术素养,却未得到重视。文章对此现象进行分析,指出原因为艺术教育与艺术设计课程未能与具体学科知识有机结合。课题组从提升大学生学科素养和启迪学科认知的视角,将艺术教育与艺术设计应用于本校大学英语教学,并展开实证研究。调查所反馈数据表明,其教学效果良好,对学生英语素养的提升有一定的现实意义,为大学英语教学改革提供实践经验。
The essence of art education and art design lies in cultivating students’ literacy and cognitive abilities. Many colleges and universities have already set up related courses in order to upgrade the humanities and arts abilities of university students, but they have not received attention. The article analyzes this phenomenon and points out that the reason is that the art education and art design courses cannot be combined with specific subject knowledge organically. The research group applied art education and artistic design to college English teaching in the university from the perspective of improving college students’ subject quality and enlightening the knowledge of disciplines, and conducted empirical research. Feedback data from the survey showed that its teaching effect is good, and it has certain practical significance for the improvement of students’ English literacy. It provides practical experience for the reform of college English teaching.
