最近以来,空间结构工程的规模越来越大,取得了不少成就,但其中不断出现一些质量事故,有的造成了严重后果,值得引以为教训.一种以钢板冷压成拱形的波形拱在我国得到了应用.去年冬天在东北地区的一场大雪引起了梯形截面波形拱的大量倒塌事故,总面积达2.8万m~2,跨度自24m至33m,倒塌的建筑物有游泳馆、车间、仓库等.由清华大学与鞍山东方彩板有限公司联合进行的波形拱足尺试验表明,半跨均布荷载作用下的屈曲破坏可能是这种结构最危险的破坏形式,说明波形拱的设计理论还有待于改进.

Full-scale wave arch tests performed jointly by Tsinghua University and Anshan Oriental Color Plate Co., Ltd. show that the buckling failure under a half-span uniformly distributed load may be the most dangerous form of damage to this structure. The design theory still needs improvement.
