以国产航空航天某设备上的重要零件——一种结构复杂、不易分型和出模的U形框架类壳体镁合金压铸件为例,利用Pro/Engineer和智能专家设计系统对铸件进行压铸模具设计。设计围绕模具尽量减少切削以及能否顺利出模为主线,模具型芯采用主型芯加滑块式结构、八字摆杆推出结构以及拉钩式板式顺序脱模机构,经过三维模具建模、模具干涉检查及铸件试制,证明模具机构运转顺利,能顺序脱模,所生产镁合金铸件品质优良。
