新年伊始,国家能源局发布《能源发展“十三五”规划》及《可再生能源发展“十三五”规划》,在优化能源系统方面,提出加快补上能源发展短板,增强电力系统调峰能力,加快抽水蓄能电站等调峰电站建设。而此前发布的《电力发展“十三五”规划》《水电发展“十三五”规划》中,也提出加快发展抽水蓄能电站建设。2016年12月8日,辽宁清原、江苏句容、福建厦门、新疆阜康抽水蓄能电站工程开工。
