文章通过分析目前职业院校公共英语教学现状及特点,提出英语教师应有意识地为学生营造文化环境,结合专业特色、学生特点、教师水平、学校配置等因素,采取相应的有效方法和策略,把英语语言国家的常识性文化知识传输给学生,以提高学生文化修养和跨文化交际能力。为国家培养面向基层、面向生产、面向服务和管理第一线职业岗位的实用型、技能型人才。
By analyzing the current situation and characteristics of public English teaching in vocational colleges, this paper proposes that English teachers should consciously create a cultural environment for students and adopt appropriate effective methods and strategies in combination with professional characteristics, student characteristics, teacher quality and school configuration, The common-sense cultural knowledge of English-speaking countries is transmitted to students to enhance students’ cultural accomplishment and intercultural communication skills. For the country to train the grassroots, production-oriented, service-oriented and management positions in the first line of practical, skilled personnel.
