我向一些表演艺术家提出如下的问题: 您认为,斯坦尼斯拉夫斯基把舞台艺术划分为体验的戏剧和表现的戏剧,这种界限从今天来说得出什么样的结论?您把自己归于哪种戏剧? 问题得到了这样的答复: 巴巴诺娃:体验或是表现?这样截然的区分不可能有,也不应该有。梅耶荷德某个时候曾经截然排除演员的“心理”。可是后来,他总是为各种技艺一一找到心理的根据。我认为,向演员提出的形象心理的问题,——对所有演员来说,都是不可缺少的。而总的来说,生活中难道存在没有心理的人吗?
