Pun is a word, a sentence contains two semantics in the use of: surface semantics and deep metaphor. This excuse to play, knocking sideways way to make the words more vivid, lively, or even witty. This rhetoric exists in both French and Chinese. Shuangguan sub-homophone pun, double-meaning harmonic. French and Chinese have a polysemy (or word), the word (or word) polysemy. It is these linguistic features that are often exploited by the language users to write a sentence that goes well with the pun. Because pun as a blend of the language of sound, shape, meaning, King, rhetorical effect is very prominent. This characteristic of puns makes it a barrier in translation, and some even become insurmountable, or at least insurmountable, mountains. The main idea of this article is to discuss the laws of puns and to provide some advice to readers about the translation process.
