新疆《哈密县志》于1990年4月由新疆人民出版社出版,公开发行。这是新疆这届修志发行的第一部新县志,并荣获自治区第二届哲学社会科学优秀成果著作一等奖。综览全书,觉得结构合理、资料翔实、文笔通畅、可读性很强,这部县志的确是一部成功的佳作。 《哈密县志》的编写从总体上讲是成功的,但也存在个别不足之处,这就是有关篇章的编写欠完整、系统,其中比较典型的就是《司法编》中的第三章《检察》。该章全文共495个字,占县志全文的0.07％。这一章的全文是:
