《中国艺术教育大系》美术卷编委会首次会议于1996年1月17日在北京召开。参加会议的有中央美术学院、中国美术学院、中央工艺美术学院和中国美术学院出版社的代表。文化部教育司司长陶纯孝同志出席并主持了会议,副司长杜长胜同志就《大系》编辑出版的宗旨、意义,《大系》的定位及性质,编委会的组成及工作原则,《大系》与部规划教材的关系等问题作了重要讲话。会议就《大系》美术卷选题初步策划方案进行了讨论,就如下问题达成了一致意见:1.《大系》的编辑出版是一项具有深远意义的重大工程,其编辑宗旨是体现本世纪艺术教育的最优秀的成果。它是一套根据美术院校大学本科教学大纲编撰的教材,同时适用于各艺术
The first meeting of the editorial board of the “Large-scale Art Education in China” was held in Beijing on January 17, 1996.
