中医中药是我国优秀传统文化的重要组成部分,资源丰富,深受广大人民的欢迎,它具有简、便、验、廉等特点,在对农村常见病、多发病和慢性病治疗以及骨折、毒蛇(虫)咬伤、植物中毒的紧急处理中具有独特的疗效,因此乡村医生在执业过程中都会充分发挥中医中药的作用。但是,乡村医生目前的中医中药的基础理论和实践技能水平较低,远远满足不了执业的要求,所以加强乡村医生中医中药内容的培训,提高乡村医生在疾病诊断治疗中对中医中药的应用,是乡村医生注册培训中重任务,我们通过的乡村医生所需中医中药应用和需求的调查,研究和筛选出适用于乡村医生水平的中医中药技术项目,推广农村所需的、简便适用的中医中药技术和适宜技术项目培训,提高乡村医生中医中药的业务素质和技术水平。
