古典舞蹈是通过艺术实践的检验流传下来的具有一定典范意义和古典风格特色的舞蹈。身韵古典舞更具有规范化、舞种化,汉唐古典舞反映中国五千多年历史的悠久,昆舞则表现昆曲中舞蹈的形态特征和律动特征,印度古典舞则有舞以敬神、舞以敬地和舞以敬师的特点。本文通过对四种舞蹈形式的比较,深刻了解各古典舞之间的异同。
