香酥果外观艳丽,早果、丰产、品质优良,宜贮耐运,集形、香、味、质俱佳于一身,被当今誉为“红皮梨新贵”。一、植物学性状与生物学特性。香酥果系以库尔勒香梨为母本、中原鹅梨为父本的杂交一代单株,其性状介于双亲之间。树冠圆锥形,树势中庸,树形较开张。萌芽力强,成枝力中等。母树11年生干周44厘米,树高5米,冠径5～5.8米。枝条较细弱,新梢当年生长量77厘米,节间长1.5厘米。嫩枝黄褐色,老枝棕褐色,皮孔较大突出,叶片卵圆形,深绿色。结果习性与母本香梨相似,以短果枝结果为主,花序座果率为89%,高接树二年即开始结果,果实9月上旬成熟。
