Co-text is a very common form of written text in ancient Chinese writings. It is a product of immature text development, and is abundant in both Oracle and other ancient scripts such as Naxi Dongba. With the continuous improvement of the writing system, co-text has its process of development, evolution and demise. This issue has always been the focus of scholars' debates. The relationship between co-texts and shaped words and early polysyllabic words has not been conclusive. If we can start from the comparison between Oracle and Naxi Dongba, we can find out a law of the evolution and development of the co-text. It is very meaningful.
