OBJECTIVE: To investigate the in vivo experiment of cable-assisted vascular bypass device for the treatment of limbal vascular disconnection and injury. Methods: Animal model of vessel extirpation and injury in extremities was established. The lacquered vascular shunt device and silicone tube were used to connect the two ends of the defect vessel. Blood and thrombus were detected and compared with routine suture ligation and silicone tube connection . Results: The fixed blood vessel of the cable-laden vascular bypass device had the same blood-passing effect as the traditional suture ligation combined with silicone tube shunt device, but the operation time was short. Compared with the conventional suture ligation and silicone tube connection method, there was significant statistical Difference (P <0.05). Conclusion: The cable-assisted vascular bypass device can simply and effectively restore the blood supply to severed and deficient extremity blood vessels, which can create favorable conditions for vascular transplantation after being sent to a qualified hospital.
