In a sense, I need (maybe we all need) the fact that I can describe the language material of a picture. I hope that the novel should have the power to surprise readers and to attract my attention immediately after I have read through the first few sentences; broaden and deepen my understanding of human behavior in the middle of the story to make it even more Keen, deep; but in the end is to give us a complete sense of thoroughness.
