伴随着互联网迅速建立、普及和应用,在全球范围内掀起一股建设信息高速公路的热潮,一时间促进网络环境的形成,也带动了广大职业院校、高等院校的图书馆朝着信息化、数字化、网络化的方向进行转型建设。基于此种情况,不少高职院校积极进行服务创新,很长一段时间推进着高职图书馆朝着功能化、立体化、专业化的方向发展,目的在于实现高职院校人才培养目标。
