絲虫病在我县树槐乡(区)流行很严重,对人民的健康影响很大。解放前該地区在反动派的統治下,受到了种种压迫和剝削,对絲虫病——象皮肿无人过問,因此許多地方傳播流行,死亡率很高。严重影响生产。解放以后在中国共产党和人民政府的領导下,对劳动羣众密切关怀,大力开展了絲虫病的防治,取得了重要成就。其中采用中药消除絲虫病象皮肿方面,我們也初步摸索到一套經驗,茲綜合报告如下:
