Although I am not an “old politician,” I have also engaged in ideological and political work for two decades. I have also enjoyed the stage with the words of the audience and the thunderous applause from the audience. Someone was praised and admired. In March 1993, I was transferred to the General Services Office from the Department of Organizations. According to the “goods” in my stomach, there should be no problem with my work. I did not expect the first section of political education class, it fell into the stage “talkative, the audience talked about” emulation. When I went to find a young worker who was later in a conversation, I did not speak. He said in advance: “We do not want to join the party. When we are not qualified to go to the party, we have the lowest wages and the dirty jobs. What we need is not a big deal, but a little more affordable.” Finish left. That do not care about the way, that sour words, my heart all of a sudden cool to the bottom. Why did the ideological and political work seem pale and feeble in front of them? Is it really powerless for political cadres?
