在水和0.3M 甘露醇溶液的模拟水分胁迫条件下,对糜、谷不同或苗阶段的含水率、水势、呼吸速率、淀粉酶活力和幼苗生长量进行了测定及结果分析,根据幼苗生长发育的不同,以水分界限为基础,可将糜、谷的成苗阶段划分为:风干种子的假死阶段;以微弱的呼吸作用转向呼吸作用明显上升的吸涨阶段;淀粉酶活力增大、呼吸作用加强的萌发阶段以及生命代谢活动旺盛的根、芽伸长阶段。试验还表明:在两种水分条件下,谷子的吸水速率及水势值均高于糜子,萌发时间也早于麋子.
