自第一个计算机辅助教学系统在1959年问世以来,信息技术教育应用大体经历了计算机辅助教学(CAI)、计算机辅助学习(CAL)、信息技术与课程整合(IITC)三个发展阶段。在CAI时期,并没有整合的概念出现,到了20世纪90年代中期,网络进入教学的时候,信息技术与学科课程的整合才成为大家非常关注和重视的一个研究课题,这也是信息技术教育应用进入第三个发展阶段以后信息技术应用于教学的主要模式。
Since the advent of the first computer-aided instructional system in 1959, the application of information technology education has undergone three stages of development: computer-assisted instruction (CAI), computer-assisted learning (CAL), information technology and course integration (IITC).
