Intel is working with Platinum Technology to try to bridge the gap between desktop and business management. In early January, Intel Corp. purchased less than 5% of Platinum Technology, which develops enterprise management products. Intel will work with Platinum to develop, sell and distribute the product. The two companies will also provide mutual technical permission. The agreement focuses on integrating Intel’s LANDesk Configuration Manager hardware and software technologies with Platinum’s businesses
