多榔菊为菊科、多榔菊属,本属约35种,原产欧洲东南部及土耳其。本种为多年生草本,植株略蔓生呈丛生状,株高30～60厘米。基生叶卵状椭圆形,叶片被毛,锯齿明显;茎生叶椭圆状披针形,叶基心形,锯齿同样明显。花为头状花序,舌状花与筒状花区别明显,花梗挺而直立。花色金黄。花期春季。较新的品种有适合组合盆栽的‘Leonardor’,该品种具有早花性,单株适合12～13厘米直径的花盆。播种繁殖。春季在冷床育苗,发芽温度为20～24℃,约3～5天出苗。生长在阳光充足的场所,半耐寒,不耐
