The authors used transmission electron microscopy to observe the ultrastructure of Sharpey fibers in the cementum of 80 individuals. Among the 80 permanent teeth (13-73 years old), 44 pathological anatomical specimens were obtained, of which 36 were removed for the convenience of orthodontics and ambush teeth.
