公示语作为国家、城市对外来游客以及公众表达关切,交流沟通,传递文化以及消除隔阂的一个重要载体,在人们的日常生活中发挥着不可替代的作用。因此在世界各国密切交往的背景下,公示语能够很好地作为连接媒介,在交流频率递增而且广泛的前提下,公示语的英译就显得刻不容缓。因此本文通过对相关文献资料的搜集和整理,通过对于公示语的分类以及特点进行描述,来进一步的研究我国公示语翻译的现状以及翻译过程中所存在的问题并且提出对应的策略。
As an important carrier of expressing the concern, communication, transmission culture and elimination of estrangement to foreign tourists and the public, the public signs play an irreplaceable role in people’s daily life. Therefore, under the background of close contacts among countries all over the world, public signs can well serve as connecting media. With the frequent and frequent exchange, the translation of public signs is urgent. Therefore, through the collection and arrangement of relevant documents, this paper further studies the status quo of translation of public signs and the problems existing in the translation process through the classification and characteristics of public signs, and puts forward corresponding strategies.
