辽首1号是“双高”大豆新品种,利用人工有性杂交技术选育成功的辽宁省审定品种,编号为辽审豆[2001]52号,累计推广面积181.8万hm2,平均667m2产量216.30kg,比对照品种667m2平均增产39.23kg,667m2增加收入97.22～183.69元,创社会效益148322.334万元;2006年荣获辽阳市政府科技进步2等奖。
