据报导,NASA Lewis研究中心已发展了一种新的计算方法并将它用于设计和分析处于复杂的湿热机械环境中的纤维增强复合材料结构件。该方法包括复合材料力学和先进的有限元结构分析法。它可以适用于复合材料的渐进破坏、湿热条件下复合材料循环疲劳设计及普通层状复合材料结构设计。
It has been reported that the NASA Lewis Research Center has developed a new method of calculation and used it to design and analyze fiber-reinforced composite structures in complex hot and humid mechanical environments. The method includes composite mechanics and advanced finite element structural analysis. It can be applied to progressive destruction of composite materials, cyclic fatigue design of composites in hot and humid conditions, and structural design of common laminated composite materials.
