上海电台有一个节目档案资料库,专门存放磁带、唱片等有声档案资料,根据内容分类编号,需要时,只要查找卡片就行了。比起全国各省市电台来,上海电台的节目档案资料要算最多、最全了。现保存着六万五千盘磁带,三万二千张唱片,有些档案资料相当珍贵,如老一辈无产阶级革命家陈毅同志的讲话,从钢丝录音带一直到后来的胶带录音,电台都珍藏着;还有梅兰芳、周信芳、马连良等名家演唱的节目录音,特别是上海几大名流集中汇演的实况录音,现只有上海电台有。
