Inflammation can cause the body’s metabolic disorders, leading to significant weight loss, the body severely depleted. The gut micro-organisms co-evolve with the host to provide the host with beneficial metabolites; the activity of the host also alters the composition of the gut microbiota and affects the host itself. However, people’s understanding of gut microbes is far from enough. The role of gut microbes in injury and infection is also unclear. Based on this, the authors studied the protective effect of intestinal commensal bacteria E. coli O21: H ~ + Lnc-DC on intestinal tract during injury and infection, as well as mediating disease tolerance and controlling injury.
