“翻译研究和文化传播”国际研讨会于1997年9月12日至14日在北京语言文化大学举行,主办者是北京语言文化大学、北京大学、丹麦哥本哈根经贸大学、中国翻译工作者协会等单位。来自亚洲、欧洲、北美和澳洲以及国内一些高校和科研单位的翻译研究和文化研究者共50余人出席了会议。代表们分别就下列议题进行了广泛深入的讨论:①当代翻译理论的跨文化建构;②作为科学的翻译和作为艺术的翻译;③翻译学和其他相关学科的比较研究;④翻译研究与中西方学术理论对话的可能性;⑤中外重要翻译理论家研究;⑥翻译与现代化;⑦翻译与文化身份;⑧商业翻译在当今社会的作用;⑨跨文化传播中翻译的作用;⑩具体作家作品在另一文化语境中的接受等。这些议题在东西方不同的文化语境中既有普遍性又有各自的个
The International Symposium on Translation Studies and Cultural Communication was held at Beijing Language and Culture University from September 12 to September 14, 1997. The sponsors are Beijing Language and Culture University, Peking University, Copenhagen University of Economics and Business, Chinese Translators Association Other units. More than 50 translation research and cultural researchers from universities and research institutes in Asia, Europe, North America and Australia, as well as some domestic universities attended the conference. The delegates held extensive and in-depth discussions respectively on the following topics: (1) intercultural construction of contemporary translation theories; (2) translation as a science and translation as art; (3) comparative studies on translation studies and other related disciplines; (4) The possibility of dialogue in academic theory; ⑤ research on important Chinese and foreign translators; ⑥ translation and modernization; ⑦ translation and cultural identity; ⑧ the role of commercial translation in today’s society; ⑨ the role of translation in cross-cultural communication; Acceptance in a cultural context.
