By analyzing the water temperature stability of the road base material in the silt-accumulated silt soil area of the Yellow River, the reasons for the poor resistance to water and frost resistance of the commonly used binder stabilized silt were analyzed. The research proved that the lime-soil mixed industrial soda ash (Rc) or industrial Water glass (Rs, wet production) can significantly improve the water and frost resistance of road base materials in the area.
