In drunk driving accident cases, the exfoliated cells collected on the airbag deployed by motor vehicles can be used as evidence to analyze the laboratory DNA of contact. In an accident, the surface of the balloon can be used for forensics when exfoliated cells remain on the surface of the balloon. However, in many cases, the evidence available for testing and analysis obtained from the scene of the accident is extremely small. This study reports a case of exfoliated cells extracted from a motorized airbag for DNA analysis. The author uses an effective method to collect the exfoliated cells on the balloon and extract 5.87 ng DNA enough for genotyping and forensic identification to infer the in-car driver's condition when the car collides with the pier on the road. In drunk driving and other traffic accidents, enough contact DNA extracted from the airbag helps genotyping and further analysis.
