当硬盘不能使用需要更换新盘时,数据的恢复工作一般要通过备份软盘来完成。在NOVELL网中,如果服务器的引导硬盘出现故障需要更换,当然也可以用备份软盘将数据恢复到新的硬盘上,但有以下三个方面的缺陷:1.可能因为备份得不及时导致数据的失时性,使近期各用户的工作白干;2.倘若备份软盘有意外损坏,就不能保证服务器数据的完整性,从而造成严重损失;3.要对两盘重新作镜像处理,所以恢复工作要花双倍的时间。这里介绍一种比较简便、合理的恢复方法:从引导硬盘的镜像盘D中恢复数据,这样省时省力,又保证了数据的完整、有效和安全性。具体做法: 1.用A盘启动。 2.去掉原C盘到D盘的镜像。按以下步骤进行: ①从镜像盘D中引导SERVER,之后装入IN-STALL。 ②在“Installation Options”(“安装选项”)菜单中选择“DiskOptions”(“磁盘选项”)。
