Art is the people’s feelings about life in the United States, on behalf of people’s pursuit of the United States and yearning. The main purpose of art education is to enrich the imagination and creativity of students, to cultivate the sentiments of students, to experience the emotional spirit and humanistic connotation in works of art, and to promote the formation of students’ good qualities. The following is the article based on the new curriculum standards, combined with the practice of primary school art teaching, classroom teaching strategies to explore. First, stimulate students interest in learning and give play to their initiative. Since the reform of the new curriculum, the teaching of teachers has to be based on the initiative of students. Interest is the best teacher and a great motivation for students to explore knowledge.
