“所有的事情都与政治有关,甚至包括煮一个蛋”这就是戈达尔时政治电影信誓旦旦的宣言。戈达尔认为:电影体制里的政治,乃是一个意义生产的问题;他肯定地指出:美学与政治具有密不可分的关联;他还一再强调:感情乃是政治层面与个人层面之间相互联系的一个环节——这些均可以说是戈达尔电影创作的一些重要理念。
