高等院校各系科资料室在为广大教师服务的同时,也能直接为大学生服务,这就是为他们撰写毕业论文提供各项服务。1、向撰写论文的学生提供切实可靠、富于启迪的咨询服务。主要包括:①选题咨询。即根据学生专长爱好、资料室藏书及其它情况,向他们推荐适当选题,或者建议他们改换合适的选题。②藏书咨询。即根据学生选题,告诉他们有关的室藏图书资料。③检索咨询。即指导前来查阅资料的学生掌握文献检索方法,使他们迅速找到所需书刊。④信息咨询。即向学生提供大量与其选题有关的资料信息,以备参考。这种咨询工作还可先期进行,即资料员在论文写作开始之前就向毕业生举行有关论文选题、材料组织、文献检索与利用等专题讲座。
