诚如贾樟柯所形容,一直在从事纪录片拍摄的杜海滨,是真正的纪录片工作者,亦与中国的独立影片同步发展。他的最新作品《1428》以汶川地震为背景。刚在第66届威尼斯电影节的“地平线单元竞赛”中摘下“最佳纪录片”的殊荣。在与贾樟柯的对谈结束后,仍然忙于为《1428》一片进行剪接(director’s cut.原来的版本由侯麦的剪接师雪莲操刀)的他,留下来继续畅谈他对于纪录片以至中国独立影片的思考及展望。杜海滨与贾樟柯同样在北京电影学院学习电影,杜比后者小两岁,当贾樟柯正朝着电影工业的集体体制迈进的时候,杜海滨却享受继续以小团队工作方式,从自己出发,以纪录片关心社会。二人对于纪录片的思考,对于中国独立电影应有的状态,想法有同亦有异。
As Jia Zhangke described, Du Haibin, who has been filming documentaries, is a true documentary worker who is also developing simultaneously with China’s independent films. His latest work “1428” is set in the context of the Wenchuan earthquake. Just won the “best documentary” in the “Horizon Unit Contest” at the 66th Venice Film Festival. After the conversation with Jia Zhangke was over, he was still busy with the director’s cut (1428), and he continued to talk about his work on documentaries and even China’s independent films Thinking and Outlook. Du Haibin and Jia Zhangke also studied cinema at the Beijing Film Academy. When Dolby was a two-year-old, when Jia Zhangke was moving toward a collective system of the film industry, Du Haibin enjoyed starting with his work in small teams Documentary concerned about society. The two think about the documentary, the same status that China’s independent film should have and the same or different ideas.
