我在校对、审定科技资料的译稿中常发现错译误译、晦涩费解等败笔。有40％以上来自对词义理解窄而死,囿于某义,沿译成习。有多年译龄的科技翻译和担负技术校对的专业工程技术人员亦未能免,可说是一种通病。有趣的是英译汉这种译病,同样在五、六十年代大量俄文科技资料的汉译中也存在过。语种不同,译病同源,故可称之为一种外译汉的痼疾。
In proofreading and validating translations of scientific and technical data, I often find misinterpretations, misinterpretations, and confusing interpretations. More than 40% come from a narrow understanding of word meanings and die, followed by a certain meaning and along the way. The professional engineering and technical personnel who have many years of technical translation and technical proofreading have also been unable to avoid it. This is a common problem. Interestingly, translations from English to Chinese have also existed in the Chinese translation of a large amount of Russian scientific and technological materials in the 1950s and 1960s. Different languages, translation and disease are of the same origin, so it can be referred to as a kind of dyslexia.
