对于现场上作案人遗留下来的指印,如果是同时并列留下几枚指印,则根据指印的高低位置关系很容易判断出左右手。如果现场上留下的是单独一枚指印,要判断左右手有时就有一定的难度。当然,对于单独出现的一枚指印,也有相应的判断左右手的方法。但这些方法都有一定的局限性。笔者通过对大量指纹的观察研究,发现小指所留印痕其外形特征有一定的规律,据此,可以准确判断左右手。1 小指印痕的基本特征小指指头印面积较小,外形呈上尖下长圆,纹线细密,花纹显得细高长。留痕时偏外侧留痕较多。
