用中国樱桃(小樱桃)嫁接的大樱桃,由于根系分布浅,固地性差,如果雨季遇到大风很容易造成树体倒伏,而且小樱桃砧木根系质地脆,如对倒伏的树立即扶正,往往伤根更多,加上雨季土壤湿度大,根系不易恢复,反而易引起死树。烟台地区历史上几次台风过后出现的大批樱桃树死亡就是这个原因。为防止风害引起的树体倒伏和减轻风害造成的损失,可采取以下措施。
