The authors reported 32 cases of maxillary and palatal sagittal fractures, accounting for 15% of maxillary fractures. About half are simple palatal-alveolar fractures and the other half are LeFort fractures. The latter is mainly on the side of the other side of type Ⅱ Ⅲ or type Ⅲ on the other side of the type Ⅳ (spread to one side of the frontal bone). 2 side of the unilateral type Ⅲ fracture displacement and bite (occlusion) disorders are very light. This sagittal fractures only fixed by intermaxillary traction may cause rotation of the maxillary fragments, the upper teeth palatal cusp and the lower teeth do not touch. This bite occlusion may be overlooked if only the buccal cusp is observed (Figure 1).
