2001年,以素质教育为核心理念的新课程改革开始在全国部分实验区试行,时至今日,当这一改革在越来越多的地方推开后,赞许声夹杂着质疑声使改革成了人们关注的焦点。2005年1月以来,作为河南省首批课改实验区之一的南阳市卧龙区,在经历了3年的课改“洗礼”后,进行了一场以培养和提高小学生阅读与表达能力为主要内容的语文教学改革。于是,读书正悄悄地改变着全区城乡每一名师生的生活。
