In this paper, the frost resistance of early strength sulphoaluminate cement hydration and hardening theory is expounded. Early strength sulphoaluminate cement has high hydration activity and quick hydration rate. Although the hydration reaction rate decreases at low negative temperature, it is much faster than Portland cement. For example, in the absence of any external additive at -10°C, the combined Portland cement-bound water for the six-hour paste test was only 3.5%, while the early-strength sulphoaluminate cement was 9.66%.
