他是一名普通的鞋匠。上世纪80年代,他从父亲手里接过了爱国拥军的接力棒。1994年至2005年,他5次自费到北京,先后向天安门国旗护卫队和总政歌舞团的演员,免费赠送了他和老伴精心制作的300多双不同面料的鞋子和400多双鞋垫。1999年,他不辞辛劳,辗转几天几夜,风尘仆仆地分赴驻港、驻澳部队,为官兵们送去了专门赶制的皮鞋和鞋垫。2003年,他又带着20多双皮鞋和100多双鞋垫及家乡的土特产,经过2000多公里的长途跋涉,让驻扎在青藏高原唐古拉山的解放军官兵感受到了一位回族老人的拥军情怀……他,就是全国“爱国拥军模范”、祖辈五代都是鞋匠的回族老人喇震洲。
