第3届亚洲冬季运动会于1996年2月4日至11日在哈尔滨(滑雪赛场亚布力)圆满举行,来自16个国家和地区的445名运动员参加了8个大项43个小项的正式比赛和跳台滑雪的两个小项的表演比赛。 中国队一鸣惊人,以15枚金牌、7枚银牌、15枚铜牌之战绩首次荣登亚洲冰雪盟土宝座。另外30枚金牌分别被哈萨克斯坦(14枚)、日本(8枚)、韩国(8枚)三家瓜分。 由杨扬、王春露、杨阳、孙丹组成的中国队打破了短道速滑女子3000米接力世界纪录。另有54人次破13项亚洲纪录,181人次破18项亚冬会纪录。
The 3rd Asian Winter Games was successfully held in Harbin (Yibuli Skiing) from February 4 to February 11, 1996. 445 athletes from 16 countries and regions participated in the formal competitions of 43 items of 8 major categories and Two small ski jumping competition performances.
