纳米科技的核心和本质在于从纳米尺度精确地操纵原子或分子来制造特殊功能的产品,统称为“由底向上”或“由小到大”的加工技术。国际上公认0.1~100nm为纳米尺度空间,100~1000nm为亚微米体系,小于1个纳米为原子团簇。将物质加工成纳米尺度大小、用纳米粉体制成的纳米材料或具有纳米尺度晶粒的材料,这种技术统称为“由上到下”或“由大到小”的加工技术。纳米粉体、纳米材料具有比普通粉体及材料更优秀的性能,但与纳米科技的核心还有不小的距离。
The core and essence of nanotechnology lies in precisely manipulating atoms or molecules from the nanoscale to make special-function products, collectively referred to as “bottom-up” or “ascending” processing technologies. Internationally recognized 0.1 ~ 100nm nanoscale space, 100 ~ 1000nm submicron system, less than 1 nanometer atomic clusters. Materials are processed into nanoscale-sized nanomaterials made from nanopowders or nanoscale-sized grains, a technique commonly referred to as “top-down” or “top-to-bottom” processing. Nanometer powder, nanomaterials have better performance than ordinary powder and materials, but there is still a long way to go with the core of nanotechnology.
