From April 16th to April 19th, 1997, the Technical Committee of the China Metal Society’s Cast Iron Pipes Committee was held in Suzhou. More than 120 people from more than 70 institutions including universities, research and design departments, manufacturers, and construction and use departments attended the conference. Relevant leaders from Suzhou City attended the meeting. Professor Liu Yusheng, Secretary General of Pipeline Structure Committee of China Engineering Construction Standardization Association attended the meeting.
