对国内外现有的包衣机进行了分析，针对国产包衣机存在的不足之处，提出了设计新型包衣机的技术思路。为了进一步促进农业生产向质量效益型发展，国家农业部在“九五”期间实施了“种子工程”计划，即在全国建立1000条全部机械化的种子加工机械生产线，而种子包衣是种子加工过程中不可缺少的重要环节。
