钛及钛合金在许多工业部门特别是在航空工业中已是一种不可缺少的金属材料,钛的生产在冶金工业中也占有一定的位置。为了更好地发展我国钛工业和进行国际技术交流,了解国外钛生产厂家的生产与科研情况是很必要的。美国钛金属公司(TMCA)在美国许多钛生产厂家中是成立最早,模模最大的一个厂家。本文根据1965—1977年美国专利公报和期刊报导编写而成,文中简略地介绍了该公司的海绵钛、钛合金生产工艺以及发展情况,可供生产与科研人员参考。
Titanium and titanium alloys have become indispensable metal materials in many industrial sectors, especially in the aviation industry. Titanium production also occupies a certain place in the metallurgical industry. In order to better develop China’s titanium industry and international technical exchanges, understanding of foreign titanium production and scientific research is necessary. American Titanium Company (TMCA) is one of the oldest and largest models in the United States of many titanium manufacturers. This article is based on the 1965-1977 US Patent Gazette and periodicals prepared by the article briefly describes the company’s titanium sponge, titanium alloy production technology and development for production and scientific research personnel reference.
