To investigate the correlation between cerebral hemodynamic changes and cerebral hemispheric tissue metabolism in patients with non-infarcted carotid artery occlusion, the authors observed 10 patients with carotid artery occlusion but not with cerebral infarction aged 50-79 (mean 6 6) years old.
