Using human physiology and psychological response feedback signals, the discomfort perception ability of the skin on the palmar side of forearm of different genders under different normal loading friction conditions was studied. The test was performed on the UMT-II multi-purpose friction and wear testing machine, the corresponding physiological response signal : Skin temperature, capacitance, and brain waves were simultaneously acquired and quantified using a NeXus-10 physiological feedback instrument; the skin-perceived mental signal was quantified by the subjects’ degree of sensation of pain, involvement and burning during the rubbing process. The results showed : Skin friction coefficient between the sexes no significant difference; female skin temperature and capacitance generally higher than men, but the temperature and capacitance at the beginning and the end of the friction difference between the sexes no significant difference; female brain waves The amplitudes and amplitudes of peaks were higher than those of males. The corresponding females had more uncomfortable psychological reactions than males during the rubbing process. The discomforts of all the subjects during the rubbing process were both prolonged and the loads increased Enhanced.
